It appears that Tsurugi - The Sword is a 2002 game rather than 2001 if going by title screen. Minor issue for the driver file, but some web sites will have some info updating if going by year shown on the title screen.

yeah, a lot of non-working games have the same issue but we can't correct it until it's running in MAME :-)

Don't get too excited you mahjong freak! It'll probably never run in MAME. It requires a PC-based server or something. That isn't available so it will not work. I have the Viper board here (with 8 dongles) and it doesn't boot up so it definitely needs it. Aside from that the system uses 8 Viper satellites, also never going to happen. MAME will have enough trouble running 1

Yeah d00d, I suspected as much. I've been watching cab parts cycling round on Yahoo Auctions with bemusement and want in equal measures!
