Is there a tool out there that can make a dat? For example want to make just for neogeo.

Reason that I ask because I don't know that the clrmamepro can do that. Not all the systems is listed in the System tab.

all bios/devices/mechanical and the rest are shown in the systems dialog, in others words: all
in the set information dialog (scan resuls tree bottom left) you can even enable/disable sets individually (eg by using regex or variables). so there you can easily enable only neogeo sets and by hitting the export button you get a neogeo-only datfile

Oh OK. I was wondering where the rest is at. I will mess with it later. Thanks.
I tried out the DatUtil and I don't know what I'm doing with it. I dislike it.

Any ideas on a way to do this for CPS1/CPS2/CPS3?
Actually n/m I can just compile driver specific builds...

Sure...Set-Information dialog Select Sets = %s=cps1.cpp;%s=cps2.cpp;%s=cps3.cpp Hit Apply Hit export ;-)
(you may also want to include parent/clones/bios/devices by hitting the belonging checkboxes)
