I have been looking online for long time for a solution to the following:
I would love the ability to toggle (with a keyboard shortcut) the artwork display in MAME. Even simply the CROP TO SCREEN / SHOW FULL ARTWORK option would be great as this would allow the art to be displayed but then cropped to the screen for game play without having to navigate the menu. My home cabs don't have the TAB available to gamers. Purposely kept that away.
With such a strong support in the community for hi-res art it's a shame to not be able to show it off. I enjoy seeing the original artwork while in-game but I would like to be able to see it on launch for instance and then I can choose to crop it to play the game.
It may sound like an odd request but any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
