Hi guys not sure where to put this so apologies if in the wrong place.

I'm new to this, trying to get die hard to work on mame 0.149, I searched on the internet for an answer and have seen the stv bios, which I have got and something about an ini file which I believe I had done right and still nothing. Please help!

Well, What does MAME tell you when you attempt to launch the game?

Yes, this has nothing to do with programming and belongs in emuchat.

Die Hard Arcade works fine in latest MAME if you have the right roms for it.

Open a command prompt in your mame folder and enter this

mame64 stvbios -verifyroms

and then

mame64 diehard -verifyroms

This will tell you if you have the right files. Don't ask here where to get the right files.

bonus noob help section
-I'm using a 64-bit mame executable, if you use 32-bit mame skip the 64. So it follows that if your mame executable has an entirely different name, then type that name.
-To open a command prompt (Vista, Windows 7, probably 8 ), hold shift while right-clicking your mame folder, then find and click "open command window here".
