Can a Logitech controller be used for MAME?

I did try searching past posts, I really did. I thought sure this would have been asked before, but couldn't find anything.
Can a Logitech Dual Action (xbox type) controller be used on my PC for MAME? I looked on MAMEUI (version .139) controllers and controller mapping and I can't find anything that lets me set this up.

That just means that there is no preset (ctrlr.ini file) for it. Feel free to make one yourself and share it here.
Any controller that appears in the Windows game controllers control panel can be used with MAME.
