Is there an even rarer Daria game somewhere ?

Controls:
stick: Daria (doesn't respond anyway)

B: sigh

Probably a huge mistake by not finishing the game in 96 and rolling it out to everywhere possible.

All they had to do was put cornholio in the first 5 minutes of the game and you have a gold mine

Seems to have potential there by skimming the video to have made operators a ton of revenue.

I can picture kids and teens all over that machine all day and it's got kickass labeled on the cpanel.

I'm hoping they do, but it wouldn't surprise me if this becomes another MarbleMan (the owner of a one-off prototype wont share the dump because he doesn't want the rarity/market value of his unit go down).

I heard the disc of it was dumped on the floor of California Extreme years ago, I'm not sure if the arcade system used a different bios than the original 3DO but I think it's more an issue of 3DO not being emulated in mame.

The common consensus seems to be the game actually sucks but it's good i suppose to see this very rare prototype brung back from the dead

A guy in this thread claims to have a cab with serial #00001, which he made into a MAME cabinet ...

Then Beavis bought his own cabinet. If anyone thought any cab based on a hit tv show serial #1 wasn't rare...

There's a working driver but because Uncle Phil saw the FreeDO code in the process he's license-banned from being able to submit it. I hate legal bullshit.

I'm gonna try another crack at that licensing issue.

So he has a mysterious private conversation with you that sparks ideas and you submit your driver.

Does that also apply to "Tobe! Polystars"?

Also, why does the FeeDO code have such a strange license? Why do they care so much about people seeing their code for an obscure console no one played? I don't get it.

This is what we're talking about BTW.
https://code.google.com/archive/p/freedo/

If you thought the old MAME license was a bit weird, check this out and think through the ramifications.

Anyhow, the rumor is they've had a long history of people ripping them off in various ways so this is their reaction. MAMEDev reacted differently to such shenanigans years ago but also did a non-OSI-compliant license for the longest while. It's no different, to be honest.

Anyhow I think we're done here, I don't want to see any bashing of other emulators around here, so thread lock
