Trivial Pursuit II Bug
#371048 - 11/18/17 12:47 PM Attachment: triviag2.png 184 KB (0 downloads)

After playing this game for a while, I started seeing glitches. First, one of the questions came up as a line of garbage across the screen and the answer didn't display; when I selected one, it said "The correct answer was What." Okay. So I thought it was the game developer's sense of humor. Then I started getting questions that were just "What" with all of the answers "What" as well. Again, thinking it was a gag, I picked one, but it was only correct half the time. Is this a glitch in the actual game or a driver error I should report to MameTesters?

What setname precisely is this?
Next time you play, make sure you use -record command and record your inputs so that a developer can use that to get to the place in question and debug the issue better. A periodic save state would also help, but is less stable generally than an input recording. If you can reproduce reliably and save the playback or some save state before/after the issue, feel free to post to MT.

triviag2 is the rom name.

I have it set to autosave every exit, so a save state wouldn't be hard to provide. I'll see if I can get it to happen whilst recording.

LOL. After seeing the videoclip, it reminds me of Frank Zappa's piece from his mid 1980s album.

For the record for younger generation: Frank Zappa was always critical on topics that involved censorship, religion, social issues, politics, even areas of arts including some of his own music. Frank was critical of all political movements whatever the cause may be for. He was that way, but even if his criticism would be derogatory, Frank knew how to 'push buttons' and offend various people by expressing his own opinions with his exceptional music. Frank knew how to find extremely talented musicians working for him over the three decades of his many album recordings. Frank pissed off folks, but he let his music do the talking for him. Even Howard Stern was a fan of Frank Zappa's work and the two would get together on occasions as Howard Stern would mention on his past radio shows.

The most offensive thing in this video is Chad Wackerman playing electric drums.

Aw man. I only agree with this opinion because it was Simmons drums that Chad had to work with in that era. Roland makes damn great electronic drums these days....and I don't care what Orc has to say about this. Orc is wrong. Roland makes great electronic drums.
