Why not put a sticky in the Artwork section and have a running MEGA folder where you can add zips to it as more artwork is created or made available?

Because long-term the answer is the cool places like mrdo.mameworld.info and mess.org, not some silly Mega thing.

Come on, man. You know why that is.
Mega is very high on the US Government's, as well as Hollywood's, shitlist. Sooner or later, the US Government will get Mega shut down either by hook or by crook. Mame does not want or need the legal problems of being associated with that site.

There's no need to be ridiculous. The issue has been resolved thanks to AntoPISA.
These organizations you speak of are now free to worry about Episode VII being leaked all over the internet before the release date as well as billions of other issues that are on their higher priority list rather than worrying about PNG files in zip archives.
