I applied the patch to mame0111 source, and compiled successfully. The two command lines work beautifully, adding multi sound card support functionality to the Windows command line version of MAME 0.111.
To list the available sound devices:
mame.exe -listsounddevices (or -lsd)
To select one of the available sound cards, eg. #2:
mame.exe -sounddevice 2
... ... ...
This now fully compliments the select display option, allowing anyone to route both MAME video and sound to an arcade cabinet, while sending any other "media center" contents elsewhere (living room, etc.)
Hope to see these command line options propagate onto the official binary, and further on to MAME32 Sound Tab under General Game Options.
