I think I've tracked the problem down to the Main Mame Shader.
As long as I have my video mode set to OpenGL, GLSL enabled, and no shader selected, the games will boot using just Mame64.exe. GTFore06 runs at normal speed as well.
If I enable a shader (ex. "Lottes_CRT") it gives me an error "OpenGL: GLSL loading mame bitmap shader 0 failed (Lottes_CRT)".
The game boots fine if selected from MameUIFX, just not with Mame64.exe
Obviously my understanding of how to enable shaders is lacking.
Help?
