The ports are the same as on a Wiimote. In fact, you can also use it on Wii/Wii U as a classic controller. I wonder if that means you can use a different classic controller with this? That would ruin the experience of course, but still some would prefer a more comfortable controller. Writing this brings to mind swapping controllers around back in the day with consoles and computers that used the standard 9-pin port like Sega and Atari.
