unfortunately the main reason people ask this is because they want to run something in the earliest version it was added / marked as working 'because that version will run faster'

which is invariably the worst thing anybody could possibly be doing

it's basically a meaningless piece of metadata because what is more important is when something last had actual improvements.

there's no good reason to officially keep track of it anyway
