How to get an instance of "running_machine" outside the mame.c scope?
05/10/10 11:01 AM

Hi --

I can't find the answer to this on the forums, hoping you can help out.

There is a whole lot of useful information stored in the running_machine class (global_machine), but I can't get an instance of it outside the mame.c scope (global_machine is declared as "static", and is not extern'able).

How do you access the running_machine class in your code?

Thanks!
Steve
