Just to clarify, the MameTesters site does log the next version as soon as the release freeze for the current version is done. If a bug is fixed after the source freeze and it is not added to the to be released version's frozen source, the next version that was added is used. As soon as the release happens, the 0.196GIT will turn into 0.196 (as in, released) and 0.197GIT will remain as the fixed version until the process is repeated at the end of the next month.
