Help please Stable Ids for light guns and trackball

I am trying to create stable ids for my arcade I have a aimtrac and a act labs gun and using optipac for my trackball/mouse. I created a cntrl file but when I go into mame I cant see them and when I click on the functions they do not work. what am I doing wrong. below is my config file. when I go into configure input devices and click on light gun should I be seeing aimtrak or actlabs?
