Whats the big deal?
If something doesnt work, people dont really blame you or whomever. They bring it to peoples attention, to get fixed... not to try to make people feel bad.
You should not take it personally. Nobody else does.
Furthermore, theres neither no way to make everyone Hide their posts on such a subject.. nor would you really want that. Its quick feedback, its free, and its good.
Its also far easier than joining a bug finding team, which many just wont put that kind of effort into doing.
If you put the project underground... than that means keeping beta releases from the public.. which then causes slower progress, less positive growth feedback, and other problems, such as shunning its many non-dev supporters.
