I was hating these machines in a similar way so I can see where he's coming from. Still you got to respect a company that makes a game system which can earn it's owner 60k+ during its lifetime. My Astros have less on the coin counter. And they did it for a long time with "shitty" 486 clone cheap hardware as long as they could. They only went to higher specs when they could no longer get the old cpus.
As for games, they were everywhere and played a lot so there are many people who think otherwise of the quality of them. I love the find-it and Shanghai games, so do my daughter and wife. Combined with the quiz games and Nokia's snake game, they make in interesting millennial time capsule.
